Clement Park, Littleton

The Destiny Runs 5K Run/Walk is an annual event hosted to raise awareness of the benefits of our program. Proceeds earned from the event are used to provide families of autistic children with effective, personal, and affordable therapy. Most health insurance providers do no assist these families by providing autistic therapy benefits, and many families cannot afford therapy for children who may have the greatest need.

Connections not only serves as a therapeutic center, it is also a safe-haven for horses that were once abused. The majority of the horses working in our program have been rescued from neglectful settings. They are healed, loved, and retrained to be careful, steady companions for our riders. CTRC maintains an unblemished record of safety in its therapy programs, and our riders will often form special bonds with their equine companions, further advancing their own personal development.

This year, we are anticipating 200+ runners, walkers and kids of all ages and abilities from Denver and the neighboring communities. Local vendors will be on hand to showcase their products and services.
